Dangerous items

For a pleasant and safe travel experience, it is important to observe the rules and safety regulations of the country you are traveling to and the airline. With a view to the safety of all passengers and crew members on our flights, we would like to point out that carrying certain items in hand or checked baggage is prohibited. The following dangerous items are not permitted on board our aircraft:

• Briefcases or suitcases with built-in alarm mechanisms
• Explosive materials such as fireworks or distress flares
• Gas containers such as pepper spray, defense sprays or camping gas cartridges
• Containers with flammable liquids, e.g. B. lighter fluid, paint or solvents
• Easily flammable materials, such as matches
• Substances that emit flammable gases when in contact with water
• Oxidizing agents, such as bleach or peroxides
• Toxic or infectious substances, such as mercury or samples of viruses and bacteria
• Radioactive materials and devices
• Corrosive substances, such as Acids, alkalis or wet batteries
• Strongly magnetic materials
• Devices and tools that have been in contact with petrol, even if they contain only small amounts of petrol

We ask our valued passengers to follow these guidelines and not to pack any of the dangerous items mentioned in their hand or checked baggage.
