Travel recommendations for special medical needs
Pregnant passengers: Pregnant women can travel with Drini Travel up to the 29th week of pregnancy and without documented medical problems or can report directly at the check-in counter. From the 29th week, a special medical clearance is required, especially for high-risk pregnancies such as multiple pregnancies. Medication
Medication at customs: If you are carrying medication or syringes, such as insulin syringes, it is advisable to carry a medical certificate confirming the need for personal use.
If you lose medication: Ask your doctor for a list of your important health information, such as blood type and medication details (including generic names). This data can be valuable if your medication is lost. Also keep all documents that prove treatment or a doctor's prescription abroad. For more detailed information, please contact your doctor or health insurance company.
Medication in hand luggage: Pack medication carefully to avoid damage and, if possible, distribute it across several items of your hand luggage. It is recommended that you bring 1.5 to 2 times your needs, as unexpected flight delays or diversions can result in longer wait times, even after you board.
